One-sentence summary: More details are given regarding Joshua's dividing the land to the tribes of Israel.

The boundaries of the tribes are further elaborated upon. It says that the Canaanites in Giza are not driven out and dwell among the Ephraimites as forced laborers. A descendant of Mannasseh had no sons but only daughters. These are the ones who came to Eleazar and Joshua to ask for an inheritance, which He gave them. It is recorded that the children of Manasseh could not drive out the Canaanites, because they were determined to grow in the land. However, when the Canaanites grew strong, they put them to forced labor but did not utterly drive them out. The children of Joseph speak to Joshua and ask him why he has only given them one lot since they are a great people and blessed of the Lord. And Joshua tells them to go up to the forest country and clear a place for themselves among the Perizites and the giants since "the mountains of Ephraim are too confined for [them]." But they say the mountain country is not enough and that the inhabitants have "chariots of iron." So Joshua speaks to Joseph, Ephraim, and Manasseh, and says that the mountain country will be theirs, and that they must clear the land and drive out the inhabitants.

The whole congregation of Israel assembles together at Shiloh and sets up the tabernacle of meeting there. The land is subdued, but seven tribes have not yet received their inheritance. And Joshua says to them, "How long will you neglect to possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?" He tells them to pick three men from each tribe to survey the land and divide the land into seven parts, and then report back to him so he can cast lots for the remaining tribes' land before the Lord, and he divides it this way.
